In Colorado this time of year, we expect powder on the slopes. This past week, Lifescape Portraits found some in the studio in brilliant blues, purples, greens, and yellows. The grace of ballet combined with a cascade of color made for some amazing portraits.
Our dancer, Madison, got a kick out of flinging pink powder across the studio. Some behind the scenes snapshots below show how the multi-colored spectacle flowed freely. A kaleidoscope filled the studio floor, Madison’s tutu and point shoes, and even the studio lights.
And through it all, we are grateful our studio has been able to work safely during the pandemic. Shep and the lights were both masked up for this studio session. Even the camera wore a mask of sorts called a rain guard to keep it powder free.
Consider a powder shoot for one of your senior portrait sessions. It’s a fabulous, unforgettable experience!
