Sophie, one of our Lifescape Portraits’ Ambassadors, chose a special location for her senior session. Cherokee Ranch and Castle sits high above a mountain range linked to the Continental Divide. Sophie looked stunning in front of the snow-capped peaks in her knit cap, black turtleneck, pale blue corduroy top, and ripped black jeans.
Sophie brought a fabulous range of outfits for the session. Matching the picturesque, medieval venue, Sophie picked the perfect emerald gown. The window portrait showcased Sophie’s beauty complemented by the spectacular view. Nicknamed the bat cave, this area of the castle used to be home to actual bats before its renovation.
The stairwell shot proved to be technically difficult, with only three feet in a spiraling incline to fit Sophie, the lighting, and Shep, our photographer. In the end, it all came together for magical portraits.
The rest of the session moved from one scenic locale to another, including the memorial gardens with its iconic marble gateway.
Sophie shined in her senior session and Lifescape Portraits had a blast making her “Ren Faire” fantasy portraits come alive. Join our VIP mailing list for tips on making senior portraits that capture your unique personality in exceptional style.
