What does it feel like to wear a magical fairy princess gown from one of the world’s top-notch designers? This summer, some of our Lifescape Portraits’ Ambassadors got that chance. The dress, designed by the Berta Fashion House, made it to our Colorado studio in June.
For our first on location shoot, we headed to Highlands Ranch Mansion. This historic site started out as the Rotherwood Homestead in the late 1800’s. Remodeled at the turn of the 19th century, the home added its turret and became Castle Isabel. For the next century, the castle enjoyed a string of notable owners who made their fortune as bankers, lawyers, ranchers, and politicians. Now the Highlands Ranch Metro District owns this community treasure to share with all Coloradans.
For her session, Hannah felt like a princess at her castle in the off-shoulders pink midi dress. When she spun around, the layer upon layer of Plisse tulle floated in a graceful swirl. It was a special day for a very fairy princess gown.
Next week our Berta dress will travel to the Colorado mountains.
